WHAT DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A FIREARM IN VIRGINIA?

—Valid government-issued photo ID containing physical address

*If photo ID does not contain physical address, then provide Proof of Virginia residency through one of the approved documents listed: Concealed Carry, Utility Bill, Vehicle Registration, Voter Card, Hunting/Fishing License, or Change of Address card from the DMV

You will then fill out 2 forms. A federal form and a state form. We will do a state background check based on the information given.
